The IMarEST’s Young Members’ Network is here to support the early careers of marine and offshore professionals.

As an IMarEST member, you can:
dot Network with like minded young professionals working in a marine science, engineering or technology sector or studying for a career in a related area
dot Learn about professional development and professional recognition with the support of others at the same stage in their career as you
dot Put your expertise to good use by getting involved in special projects and events promoting marine science, engineering, and technology to the wider community
dot Keep up to date with what’s going on in marine and offshore science, engineering and technology sectors
dot Have your say in the future development of the IMarEST
dot Take an active part in the learned society and professional development activities of the IMarEST

How to get involved

If you are not already an IMarEST member, you will need to join. All young members are automatically linked in to the IMarEST Young Members’ Network. If you have recently joined, your local IMarEST Young Members’ Network Coordinator will be contacting you shortly.

How to join the IMarEST

IMarEST membership is open to everyone associated with the marine, coastal and offshore world across scientific, engineering and technological disciplines and applications. There are categories of membership for everyone with an interest in the marine world — for those who are seeking professional recognition (Corporate membership), and for those who are currently studying or just starting out in their careers or who simply have a general interest in the IMarEST (non- Corporate membership).
