Us IMarEST The Institute of Marine Engineering, Seience and Technology The IMarEST is the international membership body and learned Society for all marine professionals. The Institute is the first professional institution to bring together marine engineers, scientists and technologists into one international multi-disciplinary professional body. It is the largest marine organisation of its kind with a worldwide membership over 14 000 professionals in 101 countries. The IMarEST is a respected authority in every maritine country and is truly international organisation that has non-governmental status with the International Maritime Organisation (IMO). It is a nominated and licensed body of the Engineering Council (UK), a member of the Science Council, and has significant links with many other organisations including the Engineering and Technology Board, the Maritime Forum and the Society of Maritime Industries., The Work of the Institue The Institue`s activities include:  Promoting
